Lucy is growing up!!

Everyday our kids make us feel old! How have they gotten so big so fast?!??! This has been a big year for Lucy. She has done some great things over the school year.
Back in the fall she told us she wanted to run for student council. So, she wrote a speech and stood before her classmates and gave her speech. there were lots of kids who did it and Lucy was one of 2 kids from her class voted into student council. She has done a great job attending meetings, running the student store, and working at the school carnival.
This year she also started playing the violin for the first time ever. It has been fun to hear her play and attend her concerts.

he has also made LOTS of progress in her piano playing! She loves to practice and loves to play. She is good at memorizing her pieces and never seems to get nervous to play in her recitals (she does NOT get that from me!!)
She was also selected to be student of the month at her school.



She does a great job at getting to her school projects and getting things done and doing it well. She definitely had a lot more work to do this year than last.

She decided she wanted to fly and see some friends from Indiana this summer. So she has worked hard to save her money to help pay for the ticket. Here she is handing over all her money to us!!
